More snow pictures!
I made my way outside to shovel. The hope was that I could clean out the parking lot entrance so we could move our cars.

This is my front hall. The wind was so strong that it blew this snow in through the door to the front porch. Remember, I live on the second floor.

The door to the front porch open to reveal ... a ton of snow. The cats made the smart decision that they didn't want to go on the porch after all.

Front porch!

This is the school parking lot where our cars are. It's a blurry pic, because the wind was so strong while I was taking it, that it shook me. But you can see, kind of, how our cars are completely clean. That's also thanks to the wind, because the four feet of packed, plowed snow in the entrance to the parking lot means we can't actually get anywhere near the cars.

The front of our house. We shoveled the walks and opened an entrance to the street and to the driveway, but the wind is so strong that they snow is started to cover them up again.
Notice the tree on the left of the pic. We kept having to stop shoveling and run when the wind was blowing, because the tree is making such a horrible sound - I think it's hitting up against the utility pole. I don't know that they'll blow over, but we didn't want to take a chance.

View of our road and driveway from the front of the house. You can see the illegally parked car on the road that is hindering the plowing. >:(

Another view of our road, down to the main street. The wind was actually blowing pretty hard, so those blurs are the snow being whipped around.
So now we just wait for a plow to come to clean out the school parking lot, so we can move our cars. The driving ban is still in effect until this afternoon, so it's not like we're going anywhere.
