I know that Colleen Hoover is a booktok and bookstagram darling, but has anyone here read her books? I'm starting with Verity and this is WILD RIDE.

Also, it's hilarious to me how people on booktok and bookstagram call books "spicy" and teehee about them because they have sex scenes, and then I realize not everyone is in fandom lol.

Now you know that New Yorkers are so jaded that a stranger's head getting crushed in front of them is totally normal.

I was like, "is this some kind of AU NYC?" because that was BONKERS. And then they just like, forgot it? I thought she was going to get arrested because people thought she pushed the guy and then it turned out not to be a plot point at all. Very puzzling.

So far, she's read the first chapter of the memoir and I was like, "oh, so it's non-stop bonkers!" Fuckable dress. That will live in my head forever.

I totally forgot about the fuckable dress! Yeah, the crushed head dude is never mentioned again. But it's okay, Jeremy is used to people suddenly getting their heads crushed with blood splattering in front of him because his daughters died in totally unrelated ways.

Don't read my review till you've finished the book, it's very spoilery and this book is fun read unspoiled.
