I didn't know
iamsab as well as many of you, but she was always kind and friendly to me in all our interactions. She was a fantastic writer whose stories entertained and enthralled me, and I am sorry I will never get to read any new works from her. My heart goes out to her family, and all of you who are feeling the loss so keenly.
I can't help but think of all the dear friends I have made through fandom, and the wonderful community I am a part of. It's sad that it takes a loss to remind me.
Fandom's crazy sometimes. But even with all the ups and downs, it's been such a great part of my life. I wouldn't trade my time in fandom, nor any of the people I've had the pleasure of knowing all these years, for the world.
