The first of two evermore fics I received! So my request on this was "No character nominated here, so go wild with this one! Write me a story about any of the songs; write me a story about all of them!" This is a fic about one song, 'Tis The Damn Season, and it's amazing! SuburbanSun crafts some amazing characters from the lyrics, and puts them in a story with so much heart, so much history, and so much personality -- I loved it! ♥♥♥

And this one hits the second part of the request, a story about ALL of the songs. This weaves all the songs together into vignettes, tied together with magic. vialethe (I KNEW IT!) takes the reader into each song, a quick but deep dive that feels even more intimate with the use of second person POV. Gorgeous language and gorgeous imagery, some heartbreak and some hope. ♥♥♥

A rock band gets stranded in Cicely while looking for the Northern Lights. They have a robot dog, but he's not even the weirdest part of their story. Welcome to Cicely, Even the Odds.

for feroxargentea, who wanted early season Northern Exposure, featuring Maggie and Joel, and some magical realism. They mentioned a celebrity visiting Cicely, so I decided on a rock band (with a robot dog) getting lost on their way to see the Northern Lights. Weirdness ensues, as it always did in Cicely, but funny (I hope!), gentle weirdness, the kind that seems to happen on the daily with NE. I had a lot of fun writing it, and I was glad my recip liked it!
