Oooh, thank you for the link, I'm going to try that and see what it says about the trackpad. I've been going back and forth on it, wondering if it's just me, but yesterday I was using my boss's macbook air, and I was like, "OH YES, this is how a trackpad should work!"

I'm going to replace the hard drive on my own -- my friend has done it before and is going to help me. So that will save on Apple trying to get me to buy something new. :)
